At Art of thewa we represent how this art work evolved from generation to generation from Raghav’s Grandfather Lt. Shri Ramvilas Rajsoni as he represent the 4th Generation of this Art family, His father Lt Shri Mahesh Rajsoni 5th Generation who popularised the art work to his best level till date in the history of this Art family by getting award such a Padmashri in 2015 . And Mr. Raghav Rajsoni who is continuing the legacy as the 6th Generation Artist in the Rajsoni family. By an idea to a create brand Art of Thewa that represents every form of Thewa Art products, aiming to have a colorful future with authentic touches in grip.


Received the award from Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed (President of India) for Excellency in Thewa art. This award is given to recognize a person who has made a special contribution in the field of Art, Profession, Business persons of India.


National Award Shri Ramvilas Rajsoni - 1975



Padma Shri is the fourth-highest civilian award in the Republic of India. It is awarded by the Government of India every year on India's Republic Day. The Chief Artist Mahesh Raj Soni has been awarded by the government of India.

Limca Book of Records is anunnal reference book published in India documenting human and natural world records. 8 members of the Rajsoni Family of Pratapgarh have been awarded the National Award & created a national record.

It is a matter of pride that Shri Mahesh Rajsoni, President of Rajasthan Thewa Kala Sansthan was also honored. He received Rajasthan Gaurav award given by "Sanskriti Yuva Sansthan" for his excellent work in Thewa art and supporting handicraft artist in Rajasthan.

Sixteen members of Rajsoni family of Pratapgarh Rajasthan have kept thewa art alive. All sixteen members of the family have been awarded the National award and Stateaward for Thewa art. Mahesh Rajsoni (Born on May 21, 1954) is a member of this family.


INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS - 2011



The Award is given to recognize Indians who have made a social contribution to the community, the award ceremony takes place in British Parliament, London. Thewa art pieces of Thewa from 1760 are still present there in the museum of London which were gifted by Maharaj Dalpat Singh of Pratapgarh to Queen Victoria.


Bharat Gaurav Award - 2018



The Award is given by the State Govt. to celebrate excellence of the Craftsman Shri Mahesh Rajsoni received this award at the age of 30 by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Shiv Charan Mathur.

Mr. Raghav Rajsoni received an honour of Life Time Achievement Award By from Designer of India, for carrying such an Ancient Thewa Art and keeping it alive by crafting exemplary state of the art modern pieces in it. He’s been also awarded by Golden Arc awards 2021 for phenomenal achievement as an artist, taking the art work globally.

To secure the actual identity of world famous Thewa art, Government of India allotted it's Geographical Indication No. 244, under IPR Act which ensures the authenticity of Thewa art manufactured in Pratapgarh to be called" Thewa Kala" only. Kindly see the GI Mark before buying.
